Easy Chocolate Oreo Cake Recipe for Birthday - In Lockdown
Hello Guys,
Need a cake for your loved one, but can't order because of the lockdown? Or feeling not safe to order food from outside?
DON'T WORRY, we have a solution for this, why don't you try to bake cake at home. Don't worry it's too easy, if you are a beginner then also you should give a try to make this special day more special for them.
let's see what you need for this. Off-course ingredients, but do you need oven? Not actually, you can bake without it also.
So let's start!
Ingredients:
- Chocolate Oreo Biscuit (2 packets of 30 rs each)
- Sugar Powder
- Milk (250 ml)
- Silver foil (optional)
- Vanilla essence (optional)
- Plane Eno/baking soda and baking powder
For Decorating: (Optional)
- Dark or normal chocolate
- Dairy milk shots
- 2 Oreo biscuit slices
- 2 chocolate piece
- Candles
Decoration part depends on how you want to decor it.
Preparation before baking:
- Open both biscuit packets and from it keep two biscuit piece aside for decor.
- Remove chocolate cream from biscuit
- Break biscuits into small part and grind it well in mixer.
- If you don't have powdered sugar, grind 2 spoon sugar also
- Milk needed at room temperature
Pre-Heat
If you have an oven, reheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. If you don't have then take a Kadhai (Wok), put some salt on its base, cover it and preheat it for 10 min. OR,
to use a cooker, remove rubber, cooker whistle from it and keep some salt inside it and don't forget to put a stand or small steel bowl over salt. Cover it and preheat it for 10 min.
Batter Preparation:
- Take 2 spoons powdered sugar, 2 spoon butter/food sweet oil/ghee in a bowl and mix it well for 1 min
- Then add powdered Oreo biscuit, milk in that bowl and stir it
- Add 1 spoon vanilla essence, if you have or can escape.
- Add Eno or soda and baking powder at the end.
Baking Preparation:
Take a pan, cover it up with silver foil and apply sweet oil or ghee or butter all over it.
If you don't have silver foil, then apply sweet oil or ghee or butter in pan. Dust with flour and tap out the excess.
Baking:
Put the batter in pan and keep it inside the Kadhai on medium flame and bake it for 35-45 min. Keep checking after 20 min with a tooth pic or knife if it's baked or not.
when it's done, let it be cool and place it in a plate.
Let start with the decoration:
Part 1:
The cream we took from biscuit, keep this in a bowl, add 4-5 chocolate slices and 1 small spoon of milk in this, and heat it in a double boiler - (keep chocolate bowl over hot water until chocolates get melt). Then mix it well and apply over the cake as a chocolate cream.
Put the dairy milk shots on the edges of cake, shred one chocolate piece, keep chocolate slices and Oreo biscuit over cake.
Part 2:
If you don't have that much ingredients, or want to decorate it in another way then I have two more options for you and rest depend on your imaginations!
1. Simply shred the chocolate after applying cream
2. Or, just break the biscuit into small piece and spread all over the cake.
